Family Ministry Happenings: Perfect ACT Scores!

Published November 16, 2021 by SMBC

Senior year. The last two semesters of high school can be one of the most gut-wrenching, anxiety-inducing times in the lives of our students. During this time, students not only have to balance academics with church, work, friends, family, and extracurricular activities, but they also have to make some of the biggest decisions of their lives so far.

During this stressful time, it's important to find perspective in the joyful moments. Seniors deserve to be recognized and awarded for their efforts and accomplishments. The journey to graduation is full of these reasons to celebrate!

This month, we?re honoring two of our South Main youth seniors: Dylan Ballard and Kile Stenoien both earned perfect scores on the ACT test - a 36! This is an outstanding accomplishment! Fewer than 0.5% of students who take the ACT earn a top score. We are proud of their hard work and dedication at school and look forward to what's to come!

Kile is a student at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory. Dylan is a student at Bellaire High School. Join us in celebrating with these young men and their families!
