Our Youth group will travel to Shaw, Mississippi, to work alongside Delta Hands for Hope, whose mission is to empower and provide educational resources to school-aged children in the Mississippi Delta.
Youth will help with the regular summer programming provided for children in the community and travel to Memphis to visit the Civil Rights Museum and Lorraine Motel.
During this trip, members of the Youth group will come face to face and hand to hand with the effects of systemic poverty and racism in the community and process this through the lens of biblical justice and Christ's life's teachings.
