Summer Seminars - Zoom link: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/81615893439

Sundays from July 11 through August 22, the Discipleship Committee will offer a single Summer Seminar option for those interested in the Fellowship Hall at 11:15 AM. Sunday School Communities will be given the option to attend the Summer Seminar or continue meeting with their individual Community in their assigned room.

The first four seminars, from July 11 through August 1, will offer mini life stories from an array of South Main panelists who will offer a unique perspective on their experience during the pandemic. After listening to panelists? life stories, South Mainers will be given the opportunity to reconnect with one another and share their own pandemic experiences.

The final three seminars, from August 8 through August 22, will be led by South Main member Dr. Angela Bell and colleagues, such as Dr. Marlin Barber of Missouri State University (LINK) as they discuss the history of racism in the United States and its links to the white church. The three-week seminar will focus on how we today can learn from this history in order to love our neighbors better in the days to come.
