Here is what to look forward to this spring!
What was it like for the ancient Israelites to live faithfully within a chaotic world, one surrounded by idol worship and warring peoples? How did Israel hold onto the hope that God keeps His promises even as they struggled to remain faithful? Such questions resonate with our lives today and remind us that there is much to learn as we reflect on the journey of ancient Israel toward the fulfillment of God’s promises. At Midtown Midweek Bible study this spring semester we will consider this journey as we explore the book of Judges.
This spring we are hosting a special series for Dishin’ with Dolores. Each week a guest with a unique behind-the-scenes insight into South Main Baptist Church comes to share a few stories and invite you to “Ask Away!” Join us on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM in The Commons for laughter and fun and be ready to ask away! Future guests include Brad Jernberg, Kathy Bernal, Bill Pugh, Emily Howard-Wilson, Melissa Pasche, Susan Moore, Hortencia Guiterrez, Steve Wells, and more.
Dishin' with Dolores starts with mingle time from 6:30 – 6:40 and conversation from 6:40 – 7:20.
