Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Adam attended Baylor University, where he received a Bachelor of Music in Church Music (vocal emphasis) and a Master of Music in Church Music (conducting emphasis). He also received a Master of Divinity from Baylor’s Truett Seminary. While in school, Adam served churches in Waco and Valley Mills, Texas, before moving to Dalton, Georgia, serving as Minister of Music and Worship at First Baptist Church in Dalton. In 2022, Adam joined the South Main staff as Minister for Music and Worship. Adam met his wife, Kelsey, while singing in choir together at Baylor, and they were married in 2018, they have a daughter, Karis born in 2023. Kelsey serves as Family Ministry Associate for Music and Administration at South Main.
