Alyssa Carter

Alyssa is a native Houstonian and really excited to be back in the city. She attended Stephen F Austin where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science. She also received a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Baylor’s Truett Seminary. After graduation, Alyssa moved to Austin, TX where she began serving as the director of Kids Ministry at Bethany UMC. In June, 2023 Alyssa joined the South Main staff as our Minister to Children and is a part of the Family Ministry Team. She loves getting to walk with kids as they come to know Jesus loves them.
